Fancy Stuff for Your Pets from Famous Designers Houses

Dogs don’t really need much: a feeding dish, a warm corner to sleep in, a collar and leash, and a tag. But that doesn’t stop their devoted owners from splurging on them—if only to show their appreciation for their love and loyalty.
If you’re looking for fancy dog accessories, bear in mind that you are still buying them for a dog. What’s great on humans may not be fun or even comfortable for a pet. Plus, dogs are so active that the accessories should be durable and safe. Don’t worry—with the wide array of dog accessories now being sold in stores and on the Internet, you’re sure to find something that’s practical and stylish.
Just take time to look around. Don’t buy the first thing you see; wait for promos, offers and discounts, and ask fellow pet owners about their experience with that brand or product. You can also bring along a relative or a friend who might be able to share valuable and helpful opinion while you are shopping around for a good item. The store clerks can also help you choose.

Shopping Tips
- Tags. You can find designer tags, engraved tags, crystal ID tags, and other jeweled tags. But since the primary purpose of putting tags on your pet is safety and identity, make sure that the tag is not only beautiful, but can contain the necessary information. The material should also be durable, so it can’t easily get lost.
- Collars. Pet collars should be functional: durable, made of a non-irritating material, and strong. This doesn’t mean it needs to be plain and boring. Aside from the basic nylon collars, you can find those made from leather or studded with costume jewels. To check if it’s the right size for your pet; insert two fingers in the space between the collar and your pet’s neck.
- Jewelry. There are many special jewelry accessories for pets. Aside from the designer jewelry ID tags, you can buy items accented by charms, embellished crystals, or rhinestones. Some are made from nickel, silver, or solid brass. But do not buy anything that is too expensive or flashy as it might attract muggers during your walks outside!
- Designer carrier. Let your pet ride in style! You can choose from a variety of styles and materials, including fabric, leather, and also faux fur. But just like any other pet accessory, it must not only be fashionable but safe.
- Clothes. Other fancy stuff for your pets include designer clothes, jackets, beds, chaise lounge, sweaters, t-shirts, bath robes, sunglasses, hats and bandannas, and other things which you could easily look for and find in pet specialty stores and various online pet stores.

But the most important thing to remember is to buy only what is best for your pet. You should always keep in mind that your pet is your family’s lifelong companion. Treating your pet to a new toy or fancy accessories is nothing compared to genuine respect, care, loyalty, and love that you openly show to him—and which he will return in even greater amounts.
